Supporting students on their journey to use The Kalamazoo Promise can be as easy as volunteering an hour of your time. 

Communities In Schools of Kalamazoo offers a variety of volunteer opportunities from one-time events to an ongoing mentorship of a student.

If you are interested in volunteering, please complete the form.  A CIS staff person will then contact you to discuss different opportunities and options. 

Please note: as our volunteers work with children, we are required to perform a background check on each volunteer through the State of Michigan.  We require that all volunteers have incident-free records.  Because of this requirement, we need to ask for some kinds of personal information.  The information you provide is confidential and will not be used for other purposes.  If you would prefer not to submit this information online, please call (269) 337-1601, x218.
